A lot of people ask me when I have time to be creative...
I'm a stay-at-home, homeschool mom of 3 with #4 on the way, so days can be pretty busy.
But honestly, being creative is such an important part of me that if I didn't do it, I wouldn't be looking after myself. Being creative works a different part of my brain - it grounds me. And if I were to use current terminology, it would be part of my 'self-care'.
So, I choose to do it, which usually means that I'm choosing to not do something else (often housework :p).
But the upside is that I now have some pretty creative kids who love to work on projects and make things themselves. Our house is often quite chaotic with all of the pieces of cut paper, stickers, and crafting projects, but I chock it up to an important part of their learning!
I'll be sharing some of the ways that we incorporate creativity into our daily lives and some of the projects, companies, and kits we have used along the way. So stay tuned!
