Beginners Needle Tatting

Come learn the art of Needle Tatting!!!

The topics we'll cover during this course include:

• A brief history of tatting.
• The supplies that are used for needle tatting.
• The foundational stitches and techniques
• How to find and read patterns
• How to finish a tatted piece.
• Resources for where to find supplies, patterns and much more!

The course will include written lessons, videos, and assignments and will also include access to our private Facebook group to share our learning, works in progress (WIP's) and assignments. 

This course is designed to be completed at your own pace. Each module and lesson builds on itself until you have all of the skills to follow and complete simple tatting patterns! Together we will be making some simple motifs and the course culminates with a special project of your own choosing.

With over 3 hours of instructional video, you'll be able to watch and re-watch each technique until you are confident in your foundational skills. 

The basic supplies that are needed to complete the class are:

• A size 5-0 Tatting Needle
• Some size 10 thread (Crochet cotton or tatting thread).
• A small stainless steel crochet hook (0.95-1 mm/ US 12-13)

If you would rather not try and source the needed supplies yourself, I offer 2 kits for additional purchase for Canadian residents.
